bto has welcomed new Associate Lynne Cardow to its Professional Negligence team following the team’s achievement of band 1 rankings in the recently launched Chambers UK and The Legal 500.
Lynne joins a team of highly rated individuals. Derek Allan, who heads the team, attained “star individual’ status in Chambers UK and his “well regarded” partner, Alan Eadie, secured a band 1 ranking. The team, which is described as “highly efficient” and “works to a high standard” enjoys a strong reputation thanks to its client base of major insurers. It has experience of defending a range of professionals, including accountants, insolvency practitioners, surveyors, engineers, architects and planning consultants.
With Lynne’s arrival, the professional negligence team will expand further the extent of the excellent service that it has been providing clients for many years. Lynne is essentially “returning to the fold” having been an assistant in the Commercial Litigation department of bto between August 2001 and September 2004. Between 2004 and 2010 Lynne worked with McClure Naismith in Glasgow.
