bto is delighted to have been appointed as legal adviser in Scotland to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).
bto’s team will be led by Roddy Harrison, partner, and the firm will provide a range of services including property, planning, administration of estates, litigation, charity law, commercial, employment and Health & Safety advice.
The RNLI is an independent charity which relies on more than 40,000 volunteers who work with RNLI staff to ensure comprehensive safety coverage around our islands. It provides a 24 hour lifeboat search and rescue service around the coasts of the UK and RoI, as well as a seasonal lifeguard service on many of the busiest beaches in England and Wales.
bto’s Chairman, Willie Young, said: “As one of the UK’s best known charities, the RNLI appointment is a significant coup for bto. We have a profound admiration for the work done by RNLI volunteers and staff and are enthusiastic and honoured to be acting on their behalf.”
