's renewable energy team is pleased to report that it has recently advised
Triodos Bank
N.V.
in a successful wind turbine project finance deal on Flotta in the Orkney Islands.
Scotrenewables (Flotta) Limited
, led by
Barry Johnston
, has brought to financial close, and has begun construction, of a single Enercon E70 wind turbine project.
Steve Moore
of Triodos said:
"Barry Johnston has worked hard on the Flotta wind turbine with our support, so it’s exciting to see the project off the ground. With every new initiative the Orkney islands are developing into a key hub for UK renewables, and we’re delighted to support the local entrepreneurs who are making it happen."
This is the fifth Orkney wind project on which

As well as acting for equity investors and senior and mezzanine debt providers to renewable energy projects,
bto
