With sustainability high on the political and social agendas, bto's corporate and commercial property teams continue to be involved in many project and deals with a "green" angle. These include;
- acting in the purchase of a metal recycling company;
- acting for the seller in an investment made by Beltrae Partners and James Toland in Invisible Heating Systems Limited, a sustainable energy development company specialising in domestic energy;
- continued role in acting for a leading social and ethical lender in a number of renewable energy project finance deals in Scotland;
- acting for the seller in the sale of a used cooking oil processor to a national biofuel company;
- in depth involvement in the reorganisation of a hydro electric company and continued involvement in a number of hydro schemes throughout Scotland; and
- acting for biomass electricity generation companies in both corporate and commercial matters.
