Acting for the purchaser in the acquisition of a substantial drinks manufacturer. This covered a full range of diligence and property matters as well as the complex banking arrangements that were put in place to fund the acquisition.
Acting for the vendor shareholders in a high value disposal of a Scottish manufacturing company to an overseas purchaser. This involved a complex transaction structure and the input of our property team.
Our corporate and commercial litigation teams have a strong track record in dealing with high value and complex shareholder disputes. We have received significant new instructions in this area and Partner, Alastair Dunn, did a workshop on this topic for the Law Society of Scotland.
