BTO’s CSR committee has announced that that the firm will support SSPCA in 2017.
The Scottish SPCA (www.scottishspca.org) is Scotland's animal welfare charity. It rescues animals in danger, finds pets new homes, investigates abuse and prevents cruelty through its free Prevention through Education programme for Scottish schools.
The firm supported Alzheimers Scotland in 2016 and raised £5639.97.
Thanks to ‘Master Baker’ Shona Currie, a paralegal at BTO, and her colleagues, the firm also raised an additional £392.70 for MacMillan Cancer Care.
That’s a grand total of £6032.67 for charity in 2016.
The fairybox appeal for Yorkhill Children’s Hospital was also a great success and children of all ages received our many gifts in good time for Christmas.
Very well done indeed to everyone involved in BTO’s fundraising efforts!
