Wendy is a Solicitor Advocate with extended rights of audience in the House of Lords, Privy Council and the Court of Session.

She has specialised in litigation throughout her legal career and has worked in Glasgow, London and Edinburgh. Wendy has been a practising Solicitor Advocate since 2004. She appears regularly in the Supreme Courts in reparation, commercial and insolvency cases. Her clients include large insurance companies, individuals and companies.

Wendy’s personal injury practice includes industrial disease cases as well as employers’ liability and public liability cases. Her commercial practice includes cases before the Commercial Court of the Court of Session, including property litigation and construction matters and cases under the Company Directors’ Disqualification Act 1996. She has been involved in judicial reviews, cases concerning breach of restrictive covenants, cases involving planning matters and tax litigation.

Wendy is one of the few Solicitor Advocates to appear regularly in the Court of Session. She has extensive knowledge of Court of Session practice and procedure and is also qualified to practise as a solicitor in England and Wales.
