In March the Scottish Housing Regulator unveiled their detailed plans for engagement with RSLs and local authority landlords.

The regulation plans follow on from the completion of the SHR’s annual risk assessment. The regulation plans, which are based upon the risk assessment, are intended to ensure that RSLs and local authority landlords are in good financial health, are well governed and deliver good outcomes for tenants and services users. Engagement will take place at a low, medium or high level depending on the category assigned to each RSL.
