This complex and long running Health & Safety prosecution and civil claim provides the perfect backdrop for what will be a thought provoking and informative discussion. This interactive session will provide a high level overview on how to deal with Fatal Claims in Scotland and it will cover numerous relevant topics which will assist both insurers and policyholders to best protect their position in the immediate aftermath of a catastrophic event such as this one and beyond.
Criminal Solicitor Advocate, Clare Bone, and Civil Solicitor Advocate, Carly Forrest, will demonstrate how a collaborative approach between the criminal and civil sides of one case can benefit insurers and policyholders inside and outside the court room.
The reputational effects of such an incident can be disastrous if not handled appropriately from day one. Using compelling examples from his direct involvement in many high-profile crisis situations, Alex Barr, Founding Director of the BIG PARTNERSHIP, will underline:
BTO offers a unique blend of excellent criminal advocacy skills and considerable experience in the field of Health and Safety law (Ranked in band 1 by The Legal 500 and Chambers UK). It also has a “first-class” civil team.
