Leading Scottish independent law firm bto solicitors has expanded its commercial property team with the appointment of two Partners.
Scott Buchan and Peter Graham, both with over 20 years commercial property experience, have joined the firm from DWF Biggart Baillie bringing an extensive track record in a wide range of commercial property transactions.

Scott works across all sectors including office, retail, leisure and industrial. As well as mainstream acquisitions, sales, landlord and tenant work, he has significant experience of large cross-border portfolio transactions, strategic site assembly and development projects, substantial investment transactions and real estate advice and support to insolvency practitioners. He acts for a wide spectrum of property investment and development clients ranging from private investors and property companies to public and third sector bodies.
Peter has considerable experience across a number of sectors including retail, residential, office and industrial. These include acquisition, development and sale of retail and mixed use developments, as well as investment sales and purchases for private and institutional investors and syndicates, based in the UK and elsewhere. Peter has also acted for a number of residential developers in relation to site assembly and development. Peter is particularly well known for his work in the retail sector, having dealt with lettings in many of Scotland’s major shopping centres, retail parks and high street locations, as well as portfolio acquisitions and sales. He has represented many household retail and leisure names in their Scottish acquisition programmes and is an accredited specialist in commercial leasing law.
