BTO is delighted to have acted on behalf of the Mactaggart & Mickel Group in connection with the sale of its housebuilding and timber kit businesses for approximately £46million.
The acquisition is by Springfield Properties PLC, an AIM listed entity, and the terms of the transaction have been announced to the press by Scottish Business Insider here.
BTO’s team for this transaction consisted of Jeremy Glen, Michael Cox and Kieran Thrall (Corporate), Jennifer Whitelaw, Mark McEvinney and Lorna Boyle (Property), Michael Kitson (Construction), Lynn Richmond (Data Protection and IP) and Douglas Strang (employment).
Reaching this stage of the transaction has required a concerted effort from everyone involved over what was a relatively short period of time for a transaction of this nature and scale.
