BTO is delighted to announce the recruitment of Stephen Humphreys who joins as a Consultant. Stephen is a notable addition to the firm’s litigation department, with a special focus on social housing litigation.

Stephen brings a diverse range of skills to BTO, including specialist knowledge in Housing Law, property and construction litigation, contentious insolvency and debt recovery litigation. He also has extensive experience in managing significant Court of Session and Sheriff Court actions.
Stephen will be working closely with Property partner and Head of BTO’s Social Housing team, Karen Brodie and Litigation Head, Grant Hunter, who commented that:
“Stephen’s expertise in social housing litigation was a particular attraction to us, including his broad knowledge of landlord/tenant disputes.”
