BTO is pleased to announce Caroline Marshall as winner of the ‘BTO Solicitors LLP prize’ for the top student in Commercial Contracts on the Glasgow University law course.
Prize winner Caroline commented:
“I am absolutely delighted with this news. Commercial Contracts was a joy to take during my time on the Diploma…I think that this course is the best course on the Diploma as it teaches students new skills in a practical way which is comparable to the way in which we will be asked to work on the traineeship.
The lectures were also really interesting to attend and the assessments covered a variety of new and challenging subjects…
The course overall has been hugely helpful and I now feel far more prepared to begin my traineeship… I really owe a big thanks to Alastair Dunn of BTO Solicitors, along with all the other Diploma staff. “
Corporate Partner, Alastair Dunn who, who is in charge of the course, was invited in 2015 to write the course content by Glasgow University Law School and was involved in delivering the course during the last two academic years.
Mrs Fiona Macaulay, Administrator for the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice, course said:
“I would like to thank BTO Solicitors for their continued support given to the Diploma and the Diploma team would like to offer Caroline many congratulations on a wonderful achievement – well done!”
Alastair will further lend his support to the students by attending the Diploma Award Ceremony on Saturday 7 October, at which Caroline will be presented with her award.
