In July 2019, established Helensburgh legal firm Raeburn Hope joined forces with leading Glasgow and Edinburgh firm, BTO Solicitors LLP. Since then, the progressive city law firm has been taking this successful local business to the next level through a focused recruitment drive and by broadening its service portfolio to include the full range of legal services for families, individuals and businesses through the generations. Clients continue to receive a personal local service whilst benefiting from considerably expanded resources and services back up from the firm’s offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Helensburgh born lawyer, Alastair Hope, set up the existing office in Helensburgh in 1982, providing Court and family services, residential and commercial conveyancing, Wills and estates advice and a range of comprehensive property management and lettings services for landlords and tenants throughout the Helensburgh, Lomond and surrounding area.
After forty years of building the business and meeting the professional needs of local residents, Alastair has announced his retirement at the end of March 2022 to enjoy some well-deserved leisure time.
In relation to his retirement, Alastair commented:

BTO’s vision and the continued presence of my fellow partner Kirstine MacRae, who has been an integral part of the firm for almost thirty years, will be invaluable to the prosperous future of this firm.”
