10 May 2016
BTO, in association with RICS Matrics Edinburgh, is pleased to provide a free CPD seminar 'Landlord and Tenant Case Law Update'. It aims to update attendees on recent landlord and tenant case law decisions, which have been chosen for their particular, practical relevance to commercial surveyors.
These will include the recent decisions in:
- West Dunbartonshire Council v William Thompson and Son (Dumbarton) Limited
Considered the validity of a rent review notice.
- @SIPP Pension Trustees v Insight Travel Services Limited
Considered whether an obligation to keep premises in good and substantial repair imported an obligation to put the premises into that state of repair. - ELB Securities Limited v Love
Considered the status of a lease, following dissolution of the corporate tenant and its subsequent restoration to the Companies Register.
In addition to any interesting and relevant cases, which might be decided between now and the event date.
