Disciplinary Proceedings - Regulatory Bodies
We advise doctors and health professionals on disciplinary matters and related criminal proceedings. In conjunction with BTO’s Clinical Defence team, we represent the interests of doctors, chiropractors and other health professionals at various stages of their disciplinary proceedings, from initial contact to full hearing.
BTO’s Criminal Advocacy team has dealt with all disciplinary appearances personally, rather than instructing the services of Counsel. BTO ADVantage advocacy service comprises thirteen Solicitor Advocates and any appeal work is dealt with by those who have civil rights of audience, again avoiding the need for Counsel and saving clients time and duplication of effort and cost.
