BTO’s IP and Technology team takes a pragmatic and commercial approach to enforcing and defending your rights. Sometimes litigation is necessary in order to protect your position and we can advise and assist in that process.
We will help you identify the appropriate remedy such as Interdict, Damages, Orders for delivery up of infringing copies, or possibly an action for recovery of evidence – a "dawn raid" – to ensure that your interests are protected fully by the courts.
We regularly appear in court, in arbitrations, the Information Rights Tribunal and before the UK Intellectual Property Office Tribunal to protect our clients’ rights.
Rapid response is an important part of our service. Speed and efficiency is achieved through the use of ADVantage, our in-house advocacy service.
