BTO’s expertise in this area extends across the whole range of property claims, including damage caused by fire, flood and storm.
We have experience of how to handle very substantial property losses and smaller claims in a cost effective and efficient manner. The key to success is the carrying out of thorough investigations and the provision of prompt and strategic advice. We will address both the liability issues and the financial and business interruption consequences of major losses and deal with any recovery issues. We assist and advise the insured on their statutory obligations such as those under fire safety legislation and have a wealth of experience of defending the insured where it is alleged to have breached its' obligations. We also offer expertise in policy interpretation and breach of warranty or conditions which can be invaluable in affording early resolution of coverage issues.
